BAKER GORDON SYMPOSIUM HISTORY
With our return to normalcy, the Baker Gordon Symposium is thrilled to conduct our 56th educational conference as we continue to honor the history and legacy of our founder, Dr. Thomas J. Baker. (Read memorial message).
For our 56th Symposium, we look to the future enhanced by recognizing the historical perspective of our evolution and why we are where we are today. The theme for the 56th Baker Gordon Symposium on Cosmetic Surgery is “Embracing a Rebirth-Articulating the Aesthetic Refinements for a New Era”.
Our renowned national and international faculty looks forward to providing our attendees with world-class educational lectures and live surgeries. Many of our faculty members were recognized by their peers in Newsweek magazine’s 2021 list of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons. The plastic surgeons were ranked in four categories, breast augmentation, liposuction, facelift and rhinoplasty. (View our faculty page)

The Keynote Speaker for the symposium is Dr. S. Anthony Wolfe, who will share his aesthetic refinements and lessons learned from Dr’s. Paul Tessier and D. Ralph Millard during in his 45 years of preforming Craniofacial Surgery. The historical perspective of 56 years of Baker Gordon Live Surgery will also be presented, examining the results of live demonstrations from the pioneers in aesthetic surgery and the progression of techniques over the last half century.
The Baker Gordon Symposium has become the largest live surgery symposia in the United States, and has trained thousands of plastic surgeons both through attendance, as well as through distribution of edited videos.
While we recognize the continued difficulty in travel following the pandemic, we feel there is no substitute for a live meeting, which combines faculty didactics with attendee interaction. While virtual meetings have been commonplace during the pandemic, the 56th Baker Gordon Symposium will only be offered live, to maximize the interchange and educational experience that can only occur in a live meeting.
We welcome you and thank you for your continued participated and support of the Baker Gordon Symposium!
