As a consequence of the pandemic, we have witnessed a proliferation of web-based learning, but in our opinion, there is no substitute for a live educational forum. As Dr. Baker recognized long ago, there is no better method to clarify the nuances of technical procedures than live surgery demonstrations, allowing for a direct interchange between surgeons and attendees. It is our hope that the 55th Baker Gordon Symposium continues this tradition of excellence in aesthetic surgery education.
